Getting started with your EPIC Client Account
Log in to your account (opens in a new window)
How to get your new EPIC Client Account:
- Select the tests you want to buy and determine how many people will be taking these tests.
- Use the Calculating EPIC Credits chart to determine the total number of credits you need. Consider one of the EPIC Setup Starter Packages to obtain the Trainer Kits and/or credits.
- Place your order.
- When we receive your order, we set up your new account with your logo and credits. During business hours, this is usually completed within 2 hours.
- Watch your email for your new user ID and password, plus information about getting started with EPIC.
Setting up your new EPIC account
You might want to download and print the EPIC Help for Sub Accounts or begin with the steps below. Links are provided to pages with more detailed instructions.
Sign into EPIC
Many people bookmark this EPIC login page (https://admin.inscape-epic.com/login.aspx). Your user ID and initial password can be found in our email to you from firstname.lastname@example.org.
You'll see your User ID and credit balance at the top of the screen. Credits are deducted from your account at the time you send email access codes to the participants. Resending login information and viewing completed reports are free.
Personalize your account
It's easy to personalize your account: Click on Personal Option > View Edit Account Information. You can change your name, address, logo, and more using this feature.
Create and manage custom messages
You may want to customize a message to your participants when sending the access code for taking the profile test. This can be done by clicking Personal Options > Manage Custom Email Messages. Create as many messages as you need.
Create sample reports
Sample reports are a great resource for viewing all the reports available to you in EPIC. Share a sample report with your boss or other decision-makers. To create a sample report click on Personal Options > Create Sample Reports.
Using your EPIC account
There is a robust online Help section in EPIC. Below is a guide to the most frequently used features in each EPIC tab.
Manage Reports tab
A lot of your work will be done in this section of the site. You can do all of the following:
- Create a new report and issue access codes
- Edit information such as e-mail addresses or names of respondents
- Act on completed reports (view, print or email reports)
- Resend login information to respondents
- Import names (download a template to add names and emails for a large number of respondents)
- When you select a Product Family be sure to remember that DiSC Classic and Everything DiSC are different entities and do not work together.
- Credits are only deducted from your account at the time you send the e-mail access code.
- Your account is secure. DiSCprofile.com does not have access to your account once it is set up.
- John Wiley & Sons owns and manages EPIC. DiSCprofile.com has an account and you, our customer, have a sub-account.
- By respondent: Search by respondent's first name, last name, or email address. Leave all other fields blank. Find a respondent's record
- Searching by a single date, or by a single folder (for group reports), leaving all other fields in search blank, is also fast and efficient.
Manage Your Account tab
The most commonly used features include monitoring your account activities. You can also do the following:
- Unassign access codes which haven't been used and reclaim credits
- View a history of your account activity
- Run a report on number and type of profiles completed
- Add or delete EPIC administrators (superadministrator only)
- Review profiles that have been completed in either a detailed or summary analysis
- Retrieve a list of all profiles for which access codes have been issued but the profile has not been completed
- Create or manage folders. Use folders to simplify finding profiles.
Note: Reports may be produced in pdf or Microsoft Excel formats
Personal Options tab
Most commonly used features include creating custom messages and sample reports.
- Update profile cover information (superadministrators only)
- Change user password
- Review the privacy statement that respondent's agree to
